Ryan Schmaltz is Executive Vice President for Blippar's Augmented Reality Platforms. He leads a cross-functional team comprised of Product, Design, Engineering, and Customer Success for Blippar's suite of products and services that enable users to create entertaining, immersive and useful AR experiences. This includes Blippbuilder and the soon to be released Blippar API; as well as several R&D initiatives. Prior to Blippar, Ryan was an early employee at Uber where he led strategic growth and operational initiatives that spanned across all aspects of the business. Previously, he founded and was CEO for AlleyCat, a waze-like mobile travel application that connected travelers to fellow travelers and points of interest, was Program Manager for Microsoft and led intellectual property efforts for Adobe. Ryan holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems and Supply Chain Management from California State University, Chico.
