Angela McIntyre is a research director at Gartner and covers wearable electronics as part of the Internet of Things. Angela evaluates opportunities for wearables in industry and for consumer markets. She advises execs on how to leverage wearables for new business and customer engagement. Angela forecasts the market for wearable electronic devices including smartwatches, head-mounted displays, and fitness trackers. She assesses emerging trends for wearables and the evolving competitive landscape for corporate investment and partnership opportunities. Before joining Gartner eight years ago, Ms. McIntyre worked at Intel, where she informed product strategy for personal computing. Prior to Intel, she was with Texas Instruments
