Bio
Brett (avatar "Brett") joined IMVU in August 2005 as Vice President of Operations. In 2008 he became responsible for all technical functions in the company and served as Senior Vice President Engineering & Operations and later appointed as Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Throughout his tenure and in his current role as CEO, Brett has built a company-wide culture that focuses on innovation as the foundation of his business philosophy. His active engagement with the technology teams drives the company’s product development and informs its marketing. Prior to IMVU, Brett was General Manager for the virtual world at There.com, after serving as its Director of Engineering and later as its VP of Operations. Brett also co-founded and was CEO of Asylum Entertainment, a game developer producing over 20 titles before being acquired by a software publisher. He started his professional life programming video games for PCs and consoles before he was of legal age to sign a contract. When he gets out of the office, Brett likes spending time with his kids and working on endless renovations of his 1890’s house.
